TERMS OF BUSINESS
AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
TERMS OF PAYMENT: Settlement
of the account is to be made by the thirtieth day following invoice
date. If our terms
CARRIAGE PAID ORDERS:
Carriage will be paid on all orders with a goods nett value of £500.00
and over within a fifty mile radius of Ilkeston, Derbyshire. For
orders valued at less than £500.00, carriage will be charged
at cost.
DIE/TOOL CHARGES: Payment
for die/tools will be 50% with order, 50% on approval of samples.
If our terms are exceeded, deliveries maybe be withheld. A service
charge of 2.5% per month will be made on overdue invoices.
PRICES: Orders are accepted
subject to our right to withdraw or revise prices in accordance
with market fluctuations or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Our quoted prices do not include VAT.
MATERIAL: Every effort
will be made to supply in accordance with advertised material specifications,
but we reserve the right to effect substitution at our discretion.
DELIVERY: Delivery periods
quoted are “WORKING WEEKS” and do not include holiday periods.
GOODS - RETENTION OF
TITLE: Prices are quoted and goods supplied under the following
conditions:
1. Ownership of all goods
supplied or made available to your company or its nominated representative
is transferred to your company only when full payment is received
for the goods.
2. Until full payment
is made, your company holds the goods as baillee but Bardini Plastics
have no responsibility in respect of the safety of the goods; accordingly
your company should insure the goods against such risk as it thinks
appropriate.
3. Where your company
sells the goods, it does so as agents of Bardini Plastics. Until
full payment is received for the goods, all moneys received for
the goods not paid for are held on trust for Bardini Plastics until
full payment is made.
4. If payment is overdue
in whole or part the sellers may recover or re-sell the goods or
any part of them and may enter upon the company’s premises for that
purpose. Such payments become due immediately upon commencement
of any act proceeding in which the purchaser’s solvency is involved.
